Pastor Brighton was Ordained in the Assemblies of God in 2008. Working with Albert and Marie Skinner on Project Help the idea to plant a mission church for Native American Indians was birthed. Now in its seventh year, she keeps the direction of the church focused on Worship, Biblical Discipleship, Evangelism with emphasis on Home and Foreign Missions. Phyllis retired from her secular job in 2016 to continue in full time ministry.
We have been in the ministry together for over 50 years, and missionaries for more than 25 years. We served in Oklahoma, with the Southern Cheyenne and Arapaho, served in South Dakota and the surrounding states with the Sioux Nation, and have been here in Alabama since 2002. There are 8 recognized Tribes in Alabama. We have been the Directors of the Christmas Stocking Project for the American Indian Children, since its conception. We average 1000 Christmas Stockings per year at the average cost of $50 each including shipping. Every year we receive many reports of salvations as a result of this ministry.
Loretta Turner has been Secretary/Treasurer of All Tribes AG since July 2016. She keeps the financial end of the church working smoothly. Her job or (as she refers to it) her ministry is always providing opportunities to invest in people. Her passion is to touch lives and see people transformed by the power of the gospel, through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, by reaching out to our congregation, community, and the world through missions.
Barbara is our resident missionary to Native American Indians. She works all year raising funds for Christmas stockings and the trip to take them to the missionaries on the reservations in several states. Her heart is to encourage those working on the reservations and to bring hope to the children. This will be her twenty-first year and the pandemic did not stop this ministry. There have been challenges. Her photo albums tell the story of her passion and most of all her rewarding investment in children. She has retired and loves being with her family.
